About Everyday AI Review
Everyday AI Review exists for one reason: to help small business owners figure out which AI tools are actually worth their time and money.
There are hundreds of AI tools being released every month. Most of them are not worth your attention. Some of them genuinely will change how you work. We test both so you don’t have to waste afternoons signing up for things that don’t deliver.
Who We Are
This publication is led by Sarah Merrill, a former small business consultant who spent a decade helping independent businesses with operations, marketing, and growth before pivoting to covering the AI tools space full-time in 2024.
Sarah’s background means she evaluates tools from a business outcomes lens, not a technology enthusiast lens. The question is always: does this save time, make money, or reduce stress for a real business owner? If it doesn’t, we say so plainly.
How We Review
Every tool we cover gets hands-on testing. We sign up for the actual product, run it through real-world tasks, and document what works and what doesn’t. We pay for our own subscriptions when we can so our opinions stay clean.
When a tool updates significantly, we update the review. We note the date of our last test at the top of every review so you know how current the information is.
Editorial Independence
We do not accept payment for reviews or rankings. Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up through them. This never affects our ratings or recommendations.
If you spot an error or think something is out of date, email us. We correct mistakes quickly.
